When I first planned Otherworld's November release date back in 2025, I intended for readers to finish the October Between Buddy Read and continue straight onto Otherworld. BUT this is Between we're talking about, so there are bound to be Ordeals, trials, tribulations, and the odd flammable catastrophe.

As many of you already know, especially those in my Sleazy Weasel Facebook group, I had a family emergency in July and spent six and a half weeks in Australia (which is why I haven’t been posting regularly or answering messages). When I returned home in September, more Ordeals awaited.

I'm sure everyone reading this post has had their own fair (or unfair) share of Ordeals this year (I am sending you fortifying hugs and radishes). So you know from experience that they can get in the way of all the best-laid plans … like publishing a book.

Technically, I am running eight weeks behind. Although the manuscript will be finished by the end of November (I am currently in the middle of line edits), it will still need to be proofread and formatted. And given it is a chonktastic beast of a book, that may take some time.

So, to avoid disappointing you YET AGAIN with a firm publication date:

·       I will be making weekly progress updates here on the website (on the 'Current Progress' section)

·       As soon as proofreading is almost complete, I will announce the publication date and update it here.

·       Pre-orders will open a week before release, and I will post a reminder on Instagram, this website, and in the Sleazy Weasel Facebook group so you don’t miss out.

·       The paperback and eBook will be released at the same time; the audiobook will follow later, probably in the second half of 2027.

I am SO excited to share Otherworld with you! My brave editors (Lynsey Allen, Melissa Findley, and Jen Gregg) have worked tirelessly to wrangle Otherworld into submission. Rebecca Morse has created the most swoon-worthy, adorable, and enchanting series of illustrations (one of them is even rich in buttocks), and Louisa Gallie crafted a spectacular, glittery cover to entice you into reading the next tight pant-encrusted book in the saga.

As always, thank you SO much for all your patience and kindness. You are absolutely wonderful, and you each deserve many chesty sorcerers and chonky turnips xxx
